About Ceil

I have been active in the garment industry for almost 30 years. I was raised in northeast Philadelphia with my six sisters. After high school, I attended the Tracy Warner Fashion Design School in Philadelphia. After graduating in 1976, I pursued a career in the garment industry.

I worked for firms such as Bleeker Street, Carousel, Kratex and Barad's. I was also employed by the Monika Turtle Studio in Philadelphia.

I became a partner in Enduo in 1989. It was here that I designed and constructed a unique line of award-winning women's jackets. I traveled across the United States, selling these beautiful jackets at many high-end clothing and craft shows. By this time, I was a divorced mother of two young boys. I had begun to recognize a hunger within myself for spiritual things. I wanted to have a closer relationship with God.

In 1996, I accepted an invitation from my accountant to attend Solid Rock Baptist Church in Kirkwood, New Jersey. On April 7, 1996, under the preaching of Pastor Charles Clark Jr., I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour. I have been attending there ever since. It was there that I met my husband, Paul. We have been happily married for over five years and are both still serving the Lord there. I teach Sunday School for 4 and 5 year olds.

Soon after being saved, I received requests from our Christian School to create culottes and other garments. I was thankful that my experience in the garment industry had prepared me to create clothing that would glorify the Lord. I saw that there was a need for clothing that was both modest and tastefully styled. With the encouragement of my husband and church family, this site was created to offer these clothes to a wider audience.

It is my purpose to make it possible for Christian women to be a good testimony to our Lord Jesus Christ by dressing modestly yet fashionably. I hope that my garments will be a blessing to you and allow you to bring glory to God.
